Presenter: Seth Wiafe

Bio: Assistant Professor and Director of Health Geoinformatics Section of the Department of Environmental Health and Geoinformatics Sciences as well as Academic Director of Health Geoinformatics at LLU; Currently Director of Health Ministry Program at the Campus Hill Church; Received BS in Public Health (BSPH) in Health Geographics from LLU School of Public Health in June 2002 and Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental and Occupational Health in 2004; Also a medical technologist and served as Director of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Gimbie Adventist Hospital in Ethiopia from 1992-1999; Currently serves as Principal Investigator for improving health and nutrition of vulnerable women and children under five in Northern Bahr-El-Ghazal and Warrap, states in South Sudan with GIS project and co-investigator for National Children's Study as GSI specialist responsible for developing spatial models for recruiting subjects for the 21 year study; Member of American Public Health Association (APHA) and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA).
