Viana was born in the beautiful San Diego area, so she naturally prefers sunshine, beaches, and good food. She is blessed to have her mother's hard work ethic and faith, as well as her father's pastoral ministry influence and his unconditional devotion shape the way she views life, God, and all else in between.
However, it was not until she picked up a little book called The Prayer of Jabez for Teens (by Bruce Wilkinson) in the summer of 2005 that she truly gave her heart to God. Unbeknownst to her, powerful things happen when you pray that little prayer. God transformed her and pushed her towards bigger challenges and a stimulating walk with her Savior. Ever since then, her journey and growth have been one continuous miracle, covered with so much of God's patience and grace.
She had the privilege of studying Nutrition and Dietetics in the Adventist University of Montemorelos, Mexico and afterwards serving the Adventist hospital in the Dominican Republic. Following that year abroad, she completed the Master's degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Nutrition at Loma Linda University. She currently serves Campus Hill as the coordinator for Children and Youth Ministries. Nothing makes her happier than serving her community and her beloved Campus Hill Church.
"And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested." -1 Chronicles 4:10
