 Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social    services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health  screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.

 Want to be involved?  You can join one of the existing ministries or start one of  your own!

 Counseling: Josephine Perez (909)936-9347, by appointment
 Professional therapy designed to help individuals and families attain wholeness,  emotional stability, and spiritual maturity with Christian principles and compassion.

 Survivors Recovery Support Group: Donna Faulk (951)662-5619
 Facilitated group therapy to help individuals come to terms with grief associated  with the death of a loved one. Designed to provide hope and reassurance for the  promise of a better life through Christ.

 Divorce Recovery Support Group: Helps heal those in pain from separation and  divorce. Provides emotional catharsis that helps participants start a new life  through shared experiences and guidance.

 Celebrate Recovery Group: Tracy Wise (909)332-4376
 A Christ-centered 12-step recovery program to provide a safe place to resolve  issues, habits, and hang-ups associated with addiction.

Tutoring Program: Sarah Solberg (909)528-0264, Monday & Wednesday, 5:00 - 6:30 pm
An individualized program designed to identify and focus on student success and academic needs. This program is structured around homework help.

E.S.L.: Rita Westphal (909)446-2223, Monday & Wednesday, 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Teaching English language learners of all ages to speak, read, and write, enabling them to better communication and function within American life.

G.E.D. Program: Steve Michael (909)709-1332
Provides students with an overview of multiple subjects that will help prepare them to pass the High School equivalence exam. This degree is a minimum requirement for most jobs today and all branches of the military. 

Mentoring Program: John Curri (909)953-4629, by appointment
Providing young people with the opportunity to learn more about different careers by pairing them with caring adult mentors they can shadow in the various work settings.

Student Luncheon: Grace Lopez (909)528-6894
Provides FREE lunches for Loma Linda students and church visitors every Sabbath at 1:00 pm in Linda Hall.

C.H.A.N.G.E.: Dennis Wendtland (909)238-0234
Offers transportation to church services, activities, and events for children whose parents are not attending church that weekend.

Little Blessings: Reyna Castañeda (909)419-2016
Every third Sunday of December, February, April, June, August, and October this group holds bi-monthly baby showers for single, expecting mothers to celebrate and welcome their precious blessings.

Homeless Ministries: Holmes & Mattie Smith (909)801-1558
Collecting and distributing food and supplies to local homeless groups through scheduled programs.

Dorcas: Mary Lou Cates (909)796-3965; Hannah Katrib, & Marijke Sawyer 
Collects, reparis, and provides clothing and food bags for those in need.
